Meet LaToya Horton, M.Ed., BCBA, Behavior Analyst
LaToya has enjoyed working in the field of Special Education her entire adult life and is most passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children. LaToya began her professional career as a Special Education Teacher where she found her calling and devoted her training to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). For several years, Latoya worked at The Lovaas Center as a Behavior Consultant, training and implementing ABA in home and community settings. During that time, LaToya first saw the magnitude of change that the proper and compassionate application of ABA principles could have on the lives of children diagnosed with autism. As the lives of her clients were transformed, so too was LaToya’s. Utilizing her experience as a special educator and behaviorist, LaToya took on a position as Director of a school for children with autism where she over saw the education and behavior modification of 110 students with disabilities. Currently, LaToya enjoys coaching parents to equip them, not only as behaviorists, but also to advocate for their child.
