Meet Kristen Costa M.Ed, BCBA, Behavior Analyst.
Kristen received a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology (2010) and Master’s degree in Education (2015) from Florida Southern College. She started working in the field of mental health and child welfare in 2011 before becoming an elementary special education teacher in 2013. Kristen has taught in self-contained autism classrooms Pre-K to 5th grade. Her experience working with these students opened her eyes to ABA and ignited a passion for providing behavior support. In 2019-2020 she was the Behavior Specialist at her school and continued consulting for them in 2020-2021 before becoming a BCBA. Kristen hopes to be able make lifelong impacts for those she works with utilizing the science of ABA!
