Meet Speech Pathologist, Katie Rose. Katie, M.A., SLP,  has enjoyed 15 years of working as a Speech-Language Pathologist with young children in their schools and homes. These children have had a variety of communication challenges in the areas of articulation, language, fluency (stuttering), voice, and social language skills. She graduated with a Masters of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a minor in Spanish.

Katie lives at home with her husband, son, and daughter. They are involved in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, dance and tumbling, musical theater, and Zumba. They love to read and travel. 

During her speech-language therapy sessions, Katie incorporates multi-sensory and movement-based activities to target children's goals. This includes talking about feelings, singing songs, reading books, educational online games, word practice drills, arts and crafts, and more!
